Halloween (a contraction of All Hallows' Eve, 'Eve of All Saints'), also known as Halloween or All Souls Night is a celebration of Celtic origin that is internationally celebrated on the night of October 31, especially in speaking countries such as Canada, USA, Ireland and the UK and to a lesser extent, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru or Latin America overall, and in much of Spain. Despite being purely Anglo-Saxon countries, in Australia and New Zealand is not as observed in other countries.
